
What happens beyond the Black Squares?
It’s been just over two weeks since we witnessed a mass of black squares appear on Instagram. We all watched as #BlackOutTuesday flooded our feeds on 2nd June: shared by friends, followers and brands, posting them in an attempt to express solidarity with those protesting the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor (and despairingly there are more names to add to this morbid roll call of Black lives taken), and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
