It’s really not that long until Christmas, and some of you might still be on the look out for pressies for that special cyclist in your life (or just yourself, which is totally cool and you deserve it). If you’re having a last minute moment, here are some gifts you can still get in time for the 25th… OR enjoy over the holiday season and beyond… Tatty Devine x Design Museum Bicycle Necklace – £40: Team Tatty have created these necklaces to celebrate Cycle Revolution at the Design Museum. The wheels move, it’s got “Tatty Devine” hand-inked on the down tube, and if you like TD & Cycling then you’re basically […]
We actually did it… me and The Boy broke our Christmas circle (basically staying indoors relaxing/eating/sleeping ad infinitum) and went out for a ride on Sunday. Although we left the house on Saturday for a very well planned visit to the sales, we didn’t ride to the West End (it was a bit too mad for that) and we were itching for a chilled post Christmas day cycle. No shame in saying this: I get very excited about Christmas every year. I’m like a big kid when it comes to the festivities and try to be as well prepared as possible… yet there are times when in all the fuss, I get a bit last minute with present shopping. So, if you’re a bit stumped on what to get for the cyclist in your life (or just for yourself – and why not?!) here’s the VCG quick guide to some cycling related gifts… Women’s Button Down Oxford Shirt – £95 by Vulpine: Perhaps I’m a little biased, but this is my favourite garment from Vulpine’s A/W range. With […]
We all know that Bicycles make me happy, as does Art. So putting the two together is a sure-fire way to put a smile on my face, and Brighton-based bicycle-belle Lois May-Miller has done exactly that. Lois created the blog Claud & I to mark her taking on the 30 Days of Biking challenge in September. What started off as a way to chart her adventures for a month, turned into a cycling blog that she didn’t want to stop, after falling in love with cycling. When she isn’t riding her bike Claud, Lois works as a Graphic Designer, with illustration featuring a lot in her day to day work. […]
About Lady Vélo
I started Vélo-City-Girl when I got my Pashley Princess in March 2010, after a ten year absence from the saddle. VCG is all about cycling and the many different forms it comes in, there is something for everyone.
